ICONIC, CONTEXTUAL and TECHNOLOGICAL

Since  medieval  period  they  have  structure  which  became  iconic  and  which  defined  as  a  representative  symbol  of  a  cultural  period  where    built   with  vision  and   purpose  like    in  religion  and  for  the  highness of  their  sovereign .  In  religion,  churches  built  from  12^th  to  16^th  century    during  Gothic,  Romanesque  and  Renaissance era  became the  Iconic  in  realm  of  architecture.  But   today  when  it  say  Iconic  structure  or  buildings  it  reflect   a grandeur  form  or  might  be  those  buildings  became  Iconic  because  it  designed  by  a  renowned  or  a  superstar  Architect  these  contemporary    became a  generic  medium   in architecture  today  but   despite  of   grandeur  form its  often  criticized because  most  of  the  form  associated  with  irregularity  or  somehow  distorted  which  figured out   discomfort  and  unbalancing,  moreover,  some  Iconic  form   interfered   the  true  aesthetic, symmetry  and   even  to  physics  which  resulted   questionable  genuinely  and  strengthen  of  those  structures,  these  would  be  the  dilemma  behind  contemporary  architecture. 

 Regarding contextual  architecture,  it  is  quietly  same  as  the  aesthetic  of  iconic, its  explicitly  address the function  and  design  abide  to  its  surroundings.  Contextual architecture   has   unique  role   that  dominated  to  its  neighbors. But  there’s  confusing  regarding  to  this  contextual  identity because  some  Architect  disregard  or  would  not  confide  the  principles   and  not  precisely  conduct  the  contextually of  their  design  that   if  it  is  belong   truly  to  its  site   before  it  build.  Architect  Frank Geary  is  one  among  of    many  Architect  whose  criticized   to  his  design  because  many  of  those  structure  designed  looks  incorporate the  elements  wherein,  it   would  not  echoes to  the  rhythm of  its  surrounding.  

Technological  Architecture  associated  the  structure  with  the  used  of  newest   and  vastly    materials   which  make  clear  many  buildings  industrial  aesthetic,  Indeed  it  should  a  true  triumph  of  modernism  which  reflect  the  product  of  a  new  architecture  and  address  integral  part  design  in  the  way  of  understanding  of  facades.
